Having spent twenty-seven years in the education field, Adveline Minja has performed different roles in public and private sectors, in local and international arenas that afforded her unique sets of skills in creative writing and tone. As an educator, she has consistently sought innovative ways to engage students, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Embracing a parallel journey as a writer, Adveline Minja has honed her skills through a diploma in Writing for YA training and attended various local and national book festivals and workshops. She is a member of the Writer’s Organization, The Authors Guild of America, and the Maryland Writers’ Association. Born and spent her youth years in Tanzania, at twenty-nine years old, she moved to the USA in 1994 giving her two homelands to navigate. She resides in Maryland, Dar-Es-Salaam, and Kilimanjaro, bringing a global perspective to her writing. Adveline Minja holds diverse professional career experience in the fields of Administration Management, and Education, both from domestic and international arenas which exposed her to various roles and afforded her sets of skills to widen her scope of knowledge and gave her the ability to engage a diverse group of people from various cultural backgrounds and of different age-groups. She is a holder of a BA Degree in Public Administration and International Relations, an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration, a Diploma in Writing For YA, and Post-Graduate certificates in her respective fields.
